{"id":11721,"date":"2015-04-23T17:13:06","date_gmt":"2015-04-23T16:13:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/dublin\/?p=11721"},"modified":"2015-04-24T10:41:31","modified_gmt":"2015-04-24T09:41:31","slug":"concurso-de-minirrelatos-don-quijote-don-quixote-short-stories-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/dublin\/concurso-de-minirrelatos-don-quijote-don-quixote-short-stories-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Concurso de minirrelatos Don Quijote \/ Don Quixote Short Story Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-11727\" alt=\"CERVANTES\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/dublin\/files\/2015\/04\/CERVANTES.jpg\" width=\"212\" height=\"163\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/dublin\/files\/2015\/04\/CERVANTES.jpg 441w, https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/dublin\/files\/2015\/04\/CERVANTES-300x231.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 212px) 100vw, 212px\" \/>Con motivo de la celebraci\u00f3n del <strong>D\u00eda Mundial del Libro y del Derecho de Autor<\/strong>, el <strong>D\u00eda de Cervantes<\/strong> y la conmemoraci\u00f3n del <strong>IV Centenario de la publicaci\u00f3n de la segunda parte de Don Quijote de la Mancha<\/strong>, el Instituto Cervantes de Dubl\u00edn, en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Asesor\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n de la Embajada de Espa\u00f1a en Irlanda, convoca su III Concurso de Minirrelatos con el tema \u00abDon Quijote\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Podr\u00e1 participar en el concurso cualquier estudiante de espa\u00f1ol como lengua extranjera residente en Irlanda, independientemente de su nacionalidad, que desee poner a prueba su imaginaci\u00f3n. Cada participante podr\u00e1 entregar un solo minirrelato.<\/p>\n<p>2. Los minirrelatos no sobrepasar\u00e1n las <strong>250 palabras<\/strong> (unas 20 l\u00edneas en Times New Roman, 12pt). Estos deber\u00e1n ser originales e in\u00e9ditos, y no haber sido premiados en ning\u00fan otro certamen o concurso anterior.<\/p>\n<p>3. El tema del minirrelato ser\u00e1 libre, si bien se valorar\u00e1 el hecho de que su acci\u00f3n transcurra en Espa\u00f1a y deber\u00e1 incluir, de forma l\u00f3gica,<strong> la palabra \u00abquijote\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>4. Se establecen<strong> dos categor\u00edas<\/strong> en funci\u00f3n de la edad del autor:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 de 7 a 11 a\u00f1os<br \/>\n\u2022 de 11 a\u00f1os en adelante<\/p>\n<p>5. Los autores de la primera categor\u00eda podr\u00e1n escribir sus relatos en espa\u00f1ol o en ingl\u00e9s. Por su parte, los autores pertenecientes a la segunda categor\u00eda de edad solo podr\u00e1n presentar su relato en lengua espa\u00f1ola.<\/p>\n<p>6. Para participar, ser\u00e1 necesario enviar el texto por correo electr\u00f3nico a bibdub@cervantes.es indicando en el asunto \u00abconcurso de minirrelatos\u00bb. En el texto del correo, el autor deber\u00e1 identificarse con su nombre y apellidos, direcci\u00f3n y tel\u00e9fono, nombre del colegio o escuela en el que est\u00e1 estudiando, y nombre de su profesor. En un documento adjunto se remitir\u00e1 el texto del minirrelato.<\/p>\n<p>7. La<strong> fecha l\u00edmite<\/strong> para el env\u00edo de minirelatos ser\u00e1 el<strong> 1 de junio<\/strong> de 2015.<\/p>\n<p>8. <strong>Los ganadores se anunciar\u00e1n el s\u00e1bado d\u00eda 20 de junio de 2015<\/strong>, durante la entrega de premios que tendr\u00e1 lugar en el propio Instituto Cervantes, en el marco de la celebraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda del E. Ese d\u00eda comenzar\u00e1n a publicarse los minirrelatos ganadores en el blog del Instituto Cervantes de Dubl\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p>9. El jurado, que estar\u00e1 presidido por la directora del Instituto Cervantes (o por la persona en quien delegue) y compuesto por miembros de la plantilla de los Instituto Cervantes de Dubl\u00edn y de la Asesor\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n de la Embajada de Espa\u00f1a en el Irlanda, escoger\u00e1 dos ganadores por cada categor\u00eda. Se premiar\u00e1 la expresividad, la creatividad y originalidad, as\u00ed como el valor literario de los minirrelatos.<\/p>\n<p>10. Se establecen los siguientes premios para cada categor\u00eda:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primer premio<\/strong>: Un cheque regalo por valor de 100 euros para el autor del minirrelato ganador. El importe tendr\u00e1 que ser destinado a comprar libros relacionados con el mundo hisp\u00e1nico y la ense\u00f1anza del espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Segundo premio:<\/strong> Un cheque regalo por valor de 50 euros para el autor del minirrelato finalista. El importe, como en el caso anterior, tendr\u00e1 que ser igualmente destinado a la compra de libros relacionados con el mundo hisp\u00e1nico y la ense\u00f1anza del espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<p>11. La organizaci\u00f3n se reserva el derecho a omitir y descalificar del concurso cualquier frase o fotograf\u00eda ofensiva, grosera, mal sonante o que pudiera interpretarse a modo de blasfemia.<\/p>\n<p>12. La organizaci\u00f3n se reserva la facultad de resolver cualquier contingencia no prevista en las bases.<\/p>\n<p>13. La organizaci\u00f3n se reserva el derecho a editar y\/o reproducir total o parcialmente los relatos recibidos.<\/p>\n<p>14. Los ganadores renuncian a reclamar cualquier tipo de remuneraci\u00f3n a la organizaci\u00f3n por el uso de los relatos premiados, siempre y cuando se utilicen para la difusi\u00f3n y promoci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>15. Los premiados deber\u00e1n ceder los derechos de imagen e identidad para poder ser utilizados en distintos medios de comunicaci\u00f3n: Televisi\u00f3n, prensa, radio e Internet.<\/p>\n<p>16. La participaci\u00f3n en este concurso implica la total aceptaci\u00f3n de las bases y la decisi\u00f3n de la organizaci\u00f3n, renunciando a cualquier reclamaci\u00f3n legal en este sentido.<\/p>\n<p>17. Cl\u00e1usula de Protecci\u00f3n de Datos de Car\u00e1cter Personal. A los efectos de lo dispuesto en la normativa vigente relativa a la protecci\u00f3n de datos de car\u00e1cter personal los concursantes queda\/n informado\/s y expresamente consiente\/n la incorporaci\u00f3n de sus datos a ficheros automatizados existentes o futuros, as\u00ed como el tratamiento informatizado o no de los mismos con una finalidad comercial, financiera, operativa y estad\u00edstica, autorizando expresamente al Instituto Cervantes para realizar almacenamiento de datos y estudios de marketing, al objeto de adecuar sus ofertas comerciales a su perfil particular. En este sentido. El Instituto Cervantes garantiza que todos los datos personales contenidos en el presente concurso, ser\u00e1n utilizados con la finalidad, en la forma y con las limitaciones y derechos que se concede en la Ley Org\u00e1nica 15\/1999, de Protecci\u00f3n de Datos de Car\u00e1cter Personal. El presente consentimiento se otorga sin perjuicio de todos los derechos que le asisten en virtud de la norma antes citada, y especialmente de la posibilidad de ejercitar gratuitamente los derechos de oposici\u00f3n, acceso e informaci\u00f3n, rectificaci\u00f3n, cancelaci\u00f3n de sus datos y revocaci\u00f3n de su autorizaci\u00f3n sin efectos retroactivos, que podr\u00e1n ser ejercitados, dirigiendo comunicaci\u00f3n a IC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a1Esperamos vuestra participaci\u00f3n!<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">In celebration of World Book and Copyright Day, Cervantes\u2019 Day and the 4th Centenary of the publication of the Second Part of Don Quixote, Instituto Cervantes Dublin, in collaboration with the Education Advisory of the Spanish Embassy is holding its 3rd Short Story Competition under the theme \u201cDon Quijote\/Don Quixote\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #003366\">Terms<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">1. Any student of Spanish who wishes to put their imagination to the test may enter the competition, regardless of their nationality, as long as they are resident in Ireland. Each participant can only enter one short story.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">2. Short stories must not exceed <strong>250 words<\/strong> (about 20 lines in Times New Roman, 12 pt). They must be original and unpublished work which has not won any other competition or award.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">3. The theme of the short story is open. However it should take place in Spain and must include the word <strong>\u201cquijote\u201d<\/strong>, or it\u2019s translation into English, <strong>\u201cquixote\u201d<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">4. There are <strong>two categories<\/strong> depending on the author\u2019s age:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">1- 7-11 years old<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #003366\"> 2- 12 and over<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">5. Authors in the first category (7-11 years old) may write their stories in either Spanish or English. Authors in the second category (12 years old and older) must write their story in Spanish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">6. In order to participate, the story must be submitted by e-mail to bibdub@cervantes.es with \u201cshort story competition\u201d in the subject line. In the e-mail, the author must include their first name, surname, address, telephone number, the name of the school or college where they are studying, and the name of their teacher. The story should be attached to the e-mail as a document.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">7. Closing date for receipt of submissions is <strong>1st June 2015<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">8. <strong>The winners will be announced on Saturday 20th June<\/strong>, during the awards ceremony which will take place in Instituto Cervantes, as part of the D\u00eda E festivities. During the following days, the winning short stories will be published on Instituto Cervantes Dublin\u2019s blog: https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/dublin<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">9. Judges, presided over by the director of Instituto Cervantes Dublin and made up of members of staff of Instituto Cervantes and the Education Advisory of the Spanish Embassy in Ireland, will select two winners per category. Judges will take into account expression, creativity and originality, as well as the literary merit of the short stories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">10. The following prizes will be awarded in each category:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #003366\"><strong> &#8211; 1st prize:<\/strong> A voucher for 100 euros for the author of the winning entry. The voucher must be redeemed against books, CDs and DVDs related to the Spanish-speaking world and to teaching or learning Spanish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\"><strong>&#8211; 2nd prize:<\/strong> A voucher for 50 euros for the author of the story selected as runner-up by judges. The voucher must be redeemed against books, CDs and DVDs related to the Spanish-speaking world and to teaching or learning Spanish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">11. The organisation reserves the right to delete and disqualify any offensive sentence or photograph that might be considered slanderous.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">12. Instituto Cervantes Dublin reserves the right to solve any contingency not covered in these terms and conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">13. The organisation reserves the right to edit and or reproduce the entries entered into the competition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">14. The winners will give image and identity rights permission to Instituto Cervantes to use their image in various media: television, press, radio and Internet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">15. Winners will not claim any financial compensation from the organisation for the use of the wining stories, as long as they are used for dissemination and promotion purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">16. Contestants consent to the use of the short story competition photographs and\/or videos, which may include their image in Instituto Cervantes Dublin publications, newsletters, Internet, radio, press or television. Instituto Cervantes does not need to notify contestants, request their approval or compensate them in any way prior to using any such photographs or videos. This consent shall have no limitation in time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">17. Entering this short story competition means accepting the terms and conditions and the organisation\u2019s decision, renouncing to any legal claim about the results.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366\">18. Personal Data Protection Clause. As set out in the current act on personal data protection, contestants are informed and consent to the incorporation of their data to existing or future automated data files They also consent to computerized or other management of such data with a commercial, financial, operational and statistic aim, authorizing Instituto Cervantes to store data and marketing studies to customise their commercial offer to their particular profile. In this regard, Instituto Cervantes Dublin guarantees that all personal data provided for this contest will be used for the purpose, in the form and within the limitations and rights set out by the 15\/1999 Personal Data Protection Act. This consent is granted without prejudicing any of the rights protecting contestants in the aforementioned Act, and specifically the right to exercise, free of charge, the right of opposition, access and information, rectification, cancelation of their data and authorization without retroactive effect.
