\"\"<\/a>Tras el 23 de abril, las celebraciones del “D\u00eda mundial del libro y del derecho de autor”<\/a>\u00a0y de Sant Jordi<\/a>, en Espa\u00f1a contin\u00faa celebr\u00e1ndose la fiesta del libro y de la lectura.<\/p>\n

Hoy recibe su Premio Cervantes, en la universidad de Alcal\u00e1 de Henares<\/a>, Ana Mar\u00eda Matute<\/a>. La entrega del premio se puede seguir por\u00a0en directo\u00a0a trav\u00e9s de Radio Nacional de Espa\u00f1a<\/a>\u00a0y por televisi\u00f3n en CervantesTV<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Posteriormente, ella misma dar\u00e1 comienzo a la lectura continuada del Quijote<\/a> que\u00a0cada a\u00f1o se celebra en el\u00a0C\u00edrculo de Bellas\u00a0Artes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

La lectura, que ocupa unas 36 horas en total,\u00a0se puede seguir por radio en Radio C\u00edrculo<\/a>, y una vez m\u00e1s, por televisi\u00f3n en el canal del Instituto Cervantes CervantesTV<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Para los que lleguen tarde, o los que quieran comenzar\u00a0a escuchar el Quijote\u00a0por cualquier cap\u00edtulo de su inter\u00e9s, existe desde el pasado 22 de marzo el\u00a0Canal El Quijote en Youtube<\/a>, gestionado por la Real Academia Espa\u00f1ola<\/a> de la lengua y por la Asociaci\u00f3n de Academias de la Lengua Espa\u00f1ola<\/a>. Fueron 2149 hispanohablantes los que participaron en esta lectura\u00a0universal del Quijote.<\/p>\n

Y al anochecer, llega la sexta edici\u00f3n de\u00a0La noche de los libros<\/a>\u00a0en la que participar\u00e1n\u00a0m\u00e1s de 450 escritores y artistas\u00a0por las calles de la Comunidad de Madrid. La noche de los libros tambi\u00e9n se celebra, c\u00f3mo no,\u00a0en la sede del Instituto Cervantes<\/a>\u00a0en Madrid.<\/p>\n

The 23rd April having just passed, along with the <\/span>\u201cWorld Book and Copyright Day\u201d<\/a><\/span> and <\/span>Sant Jordi<\/a><\/span> festivities, Spain\u2019s celebration of books and reading is still underway. Today, Ana Mar\u00eda Matute will be awarded the <\/span>Cervantes Prize, in the university of Alcal\u00e1 de Henares<\/a><\/span>. You can follow the prize-giving ceremony live with Spanish national radio, <\/span>Radio Nacional de Espa\u00f1a<\/a><\/span>, and on TV with <\/span>CervantesTV<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the ceremony, she will officially initiate the <\/span>continuous reading of Don Quixote<\/a><\/span> which is held every year in the <\/span>C\u00edrculo de Bellas\u00a0Artes<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can follow the reading, due to last some 36 hours in total, with the C\u00edrculo de Bellas Artes\u2019s radio station, <\/span>Radio C\u00edrculo<\/a><\/span>, or, again with Instituto Cervantes\u2019s television channel, <\/span>CervantesTV<\/a><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you are unable to follow the event live, or if you wish to listen to a particular chapter of Don Quixote, you can also watch the event on the <\/span>YouTube channel \u201cElQuijote\u201d<\/a><\/span>, created recently on the 22nd March by the <\/span>Royal Spanish Academy<\/a><\/span> and the <\/span>Association of Spanish Language Academies<\/a><\/span>. 2149 Spanish-speakers have participated in this universal reading of Quixote. <\/span><\/p>\n

And if that isn\u2019t enough, in the evening, the sixth edition of <\/span>La noche de los libros<\/a><\/span> gets underway, with over 450 writers and artists participating in various activities on Madrid\u2019s streets, all in celebration of reading. Book night will also, of course, be celebrated in <\/span>Instituto Cervantes<\/a><\/span>\u2018s headquarters in Madrid. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
