En ella conversa con Pilar Garrido sobre su llegada a la literatura, su concepto de la poes\u00eda y su trabajo como traductora literaria. El video est\u00e1 subtitulado en espa\u00f1ol e ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Como se adivina por su nombre, <strong>Anamar\u00eda Crowe Serrano<\/strong> vive a caballo entre dos culturas, la irlandesa y la espa\u00f1ola. Es profesora de lengua espa\u00f1ola y traductora de poes\u00eda contempor\u00e1nea del espa\u00f1ol e italiano al ingl\u00e9s. Adem\u00e1s de sus traducciones en ingl\u00e9s de los poetas mexicanos, Gerardo Beltr\u00e1n\u00a0y Elsa Cross (<em>Selected Poems<\/em>, Shearsman, 2010), tambi\u00e9n se han publicado sus traducciones en espa\u00f1ol de Brendan Kennelly y Seamus Heaney.\u00a0En narrativa ha publicado relatos cortos y\u00a0una obra para teatro.<\/p>\n<p>Como poeta, es autora del poemario\u00a0<em>Femispheres<\/em> (Shearsman, UK, 2008).\u00a0Ha sido galardonada por el Arts Council of Ireland y en febrero de este a\u00f1o particip\u00f3 en el proyecto colectivo Upstart\u00a0durante la campa\u00f1a electoral.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestros<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/ICDublin?blend=12&amp;ob=5#p\/c\/44628AED438BFA08\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cEncuentros en la Biblioteca\u201d<\/a><\/strong> son una serie de entrevistas a personalidades del mundo de las letras y la cultura en general que se realizan en la biblioteca del Instituto Cervantes de Dubl\u00edn. Esta iniciativa naci\u00f3 con el prop\u00f3sito de servir de plataforma de encuentro entre escritores y lectores y de contribuir a nuestra misi\u00f3n de difusi\u00f3n de la cultura en espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Irish poet and translator Anamar\u00eda Crowe Serrano was so kind to give us this brief interview within the series \u201cMeetings at the library\u201d, where she talks with Pilar Garrido about her literary beginnings, her concept of poetry and her career as a literary translator. The interview is subtitled in Spanish and English.<\/p>\n<p>As we may guess from her name, <strong>Anamar\u00eda Crowe Serrano<\/strong>\u2019s life runs between two cultures, Irish and Spanish. She works as a teacher of Spanish and translator of contemporary poetry from Italian and Spanish into English. She has also translated\u00a0into English the Mexican poets, Gerardo Beltr\u00e1n and Elsa Cross (<em>Selected Poems<\/em>, Shearsman, 2010) as well as\u00a0some of Brendan Kennelly&#8217;s and Seamus Heaney&#8217;s work into Spanish. As a writer she has published a collection of short stories,\u00a0a one-act play,\u00a0and a collection of poetry,\u00a0titled\u00a0<em>Femispheres<\/em> (Shearsman,UK, 2008). She is the recipient of two awards from the Arts Council of Ireland and recently partook in the Upstart poetry collective during the election campaign.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/ICDublin?blend=12&amp;ob=5#p\/c\/44628AED438BFA08\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cMeetings at the library\u201d<\/a><\/strong> is the title of a series of interviews with important figures in literature and the arts in general held at the Library of Instituto Cervantes Dublin.
