Perhaps you might also have heard of the human towers in Catalonia<\/strong>, or the Day of the Dead festivities in Mexico<\/strong>, and perhaps even the quirky displays of Barranquilla\u2019s Carnival, in Colombia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But, do you know what Majorca\u2019s Chant of the Sybil <\/strong>is, or what it sounds like? Or the Whistled language of the island of La Gomera <\/strong>(one of the Canary Islands)? How about the Scissors Dance in Peru<\/strong>?<\/p>\n

Each of these cultural practices has something in common: they are all part of UNESCO\u2019s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n
