La situaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica de Argentina en aquellos a\u00f1os acab\u00f3 con la vida de su padre, y el resto de la familia se vio obligada a exiliarse a Espa\u00f1a cuando Juan Diego ten\u00eda cuatro a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>En esta entrevista, tendremos la oportunidad de conocer m\u00e1s detalles sobre la vida de este actor que comenz\u00f3 su andadura con tan s\u00f3lo cinco a\u00f1os en la pel\u00edcula <em>Juego de Poder<\/em> de Fausto Canel, de la que, seg\u00fan nos cuenta, tiene tan solo vagos recuerdos. Nunca imagin\u00f3 que la de actor podr\u00eda ser su profesi\u00f3n. En aquellos primeros momentos, aquel &#8220;juego&#8221; era s\u00f3lo una excusa para no ir al colegio y para conseguir todos los juguetes que sal\u00edan en la pel\u00edcula, como le hab\u00edan prometido.<\/p>\n<p>Pero conforme fue pasando el tiempo, Juan Diego Botto fue haciendo de la interpretaci\u00f3n su vida, hasta llegar a conseguir tres candidaturas a los premios <em>Goya<\/em> y el premio al <em>Mejor Actor<\/em> en el <em>Festival de El Cairo<\/em>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Juan Diego Botto visited our library last July to present the <a title=\"Abre nueva ventana \/ Open new window\" href=\"http:\/\/dublin.cervantes.es\/FichasCultura\/Ficha68175_16_2.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Argentine film series<\/a> organized by Instituto Cervantes in Dublin. Juan Diego was kind enough to answer the questions of our colleague Carmen Sanjuli\u00e1n. In our TV channel you can see the full interview on video.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Juan Diego Botto<\/strong> was born in Buenos Aires in 1975. The political situation in Argentina in those years killed his father and the rest of the family was forced into exile in Spain when Juan Diego was four.<\/p>\n<p>In this interview, we will have the opportunity to learn more about the life of this actor who began his career with only five years in the film <em>Juego de Poder<\/em> directed by Fausto Canel. But he never imagined that acting could be his profession.
