Por eso, y para que conozcas un poco mejor su obra, la hemos seleccionado como autora del mes de noviembre en nuestra biblioteca.<\/p>\n<p>Elia Barcel\u00f3 reside en Austria desde 1981 donde es profesora de literatura hisp\u00e1nica.<\/p>\n<p>Su campo de investigaci\u00f3n es la literatura fant\u00e1stica, de ciencia ficci\u00f3n y de terror, as\u00ed como la narrativa argentina y cubana del siglo XX, la novela negra y la literatura juvenil en Espa\u00f1a.\u00a0Se la considera una de las escritoras m\u00e1s importantes, en lengua castellana, del g\u00e9nero de la ciencia-ficci\u00f3n, junto con la argentina Ang\u00e9lica Gorodischer y la cubana Da\u00edna Chaviano. Las tres forman la llamada &#8220;trinidad femenina de la ciencia-ficci\u00f3n en Hispanoam\u00e9rica&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Ha publicado novelas, ensayo y unos cuarenta relatos. Parte de su obra ha sido traducida al franc\u00e9s, italiano, alem\u00e1n, catal\u00e1n, ingl\u00e9s, griego, h\u00fangaro, holand\u00e9s, dan\u00e9s, noruego, sueco y esperanto.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Abre nueva ventana\" href=\"http:\/\/dublin.cervantes.es\/es\/biblioteca_espanol\/autor_del_mes_espanol.htm\" target=\"_blank\">\u00bfQuieres saber m\u00e1s?<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Elia Barcel\u00f3 (Alicante, 1957) is our author of the month in November. She will be with us in the <a title=\"Open new window\" href=\"http:\/\/dublin.cervantes.es\/FichasCultura\/Ficha83292_16_1.htm\" target=\"_blank\">ISLA Literary Festival<\/a> the 2nd and the 3rd of November, so you have a good chance to know better her literary works.<\/p>\n<p>She lives in Austria since 1981 where she teaches Spanish Literature.\u00a0Her field of activity is Fantastic Literature, Science Fiction and Horror. She\u00b4s also interested in the Argentinian and Cuban narrative of the XX century, crime fiction and books for children and young adults.<\/p>\n<p>She has published novels, essays and over forty short-stories.
