\"teatro_ninos\"<\/a>Summer is the perfect moment to improve your children’s Spanish while they also have fun. We offer you a week theatre workshop<\/a> running next week from Monday to Friday from 2pm to 5pm. The workshop will be conducted in Spanish by\u00a0\u00a0Sandra Villegas, Director of The Latin Sphere Theatre.<\/p>\n

Taking part in a theatrical performance, storytelling, singing, etc., the play and the technique of improvisation will be the starting point for exploring different themes. Through entertainment and theatre education, children will learn to develop verbal expression and body language, explore their imagination, stimulate new ideas and express themselves. Theatre helps children to understand and control their emotions, build self-esteem, gain respect and discover the discipline and routine of hard work. It teaches them how to participate in teamwork as well as how to engage with members of the public.<\/p>\n

Sandra Villegas\u00a0completed post-graduate studies at UCD, where she gained her Masters in Directing for Theatre. She also received a diploma in drama and theatre from NUI Maynooth, and holds a degree in theatre, drama, acting and directing from CUNY (City University of New York). Sandra has trained on Broadway in New York, founded The Latin Sphere Theatre company in Dublin and has facilitated numerous theatre workshops for organisations like LASC (Latin American Solidarity Centre) and Ban\u00falacht.<\/p>\n

El verano es el momento ideal para mejorar el espa\u00f1ol de tus hijos mientras se divierten. La pr\u00f3xima semana te ofrecemos un taller de teatro <\/a>de lunes a viernes de 14:00 a 17:00 de la tarde. El taller es en espa\u00f1ol y estar\u00e1 impartido por Sandra Villegas, Directora de The Latin Sphere Theatre.<\/p>\n

Partiendo de una obra de teatro, cuento, canci\u00f3n, etc., el\u00a0juego\u00a0y la\u00a0t\u00e9cnica de improvisaci\u00f3n\u00a0ser\u00e1n el punto de partida para explorar distintos temas. En un campo de diversi\u00f3n y educaci\u00f3n teatral, los ni\u00f1os estar\u00e1n expuestos a\u00a0desarrollar su expresi\u00f3n verbal y\u00a0corporal, explorar su imaginaci\u00f3n, fomentar sus sentidos, motivar su pensamiento y jugar con su fantas\u00eda. Con el teatro los ni\u00f1os aumentan su autoestima, aprenden a respetar y convivir en grupo, conocen y controlan sus emociones, descubren lo que es la disciplina y la constancia en el trabajo, adem\u00e1s de desenvolverse entre el p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n
