Las Sevillanas is a traditional flamenco dance performed in pairs. It&#8217;s the most popular regional dance in Spain and is performed at all the different fairs and parades celebrated throughout Andalusia.<\/p>\n<p>Besides Sevillanas\u00a0the workshop will\u00a0include\u00a0 some history of Flamenco introducing arms, footwork, castanets, palmas &amp; shawl movement.<\/p>\n<p>Dates: 23rd, 24th and 25th July, 10am-12pm<br \/>\nDuration: 6h<br \/>\nPrice: 60 \u20ac<br \/>\nInfo or registration: <a href=\"mailto:reservas.dublin@cervantes.es\">reservas.dublin@cervantes.es<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Joyce Richardson is a professional dancer and flamenco teacher. In 2005 she founded the company &#8220;Aires Flamencos\u201d, based in Dublin. She currently owns and teaches at the flamenco dance academy &#8211; Flamenco Ireland.<\/p>\n<div id=\"texto_actividad\">\n<hr \/>\n<p>Esta semana tus hijos pueden disfrutar de un<a href=\"http:\/\/dublin.cervantes.es\/FichasCultura\/Ficha89791_16_1.htm\" target=\"_blank\"> taller b\u00e1sico de Sevillanas<\/a>\u00a0impartido\u00a0en ingl\u00e9s por Joyce Richardson. Las Sevillanas es un baile flamenco que se baila en pareja.
