Fue el productor por excelencia y de su mano salieron muchas de las grandes pel\u00edculas de nuestro cine de los \u00faltimos cuarenta a\u00f1os. Los que le conocieron, a menudo destacan su faceta de productor-autor, dada su involucraci\u00f3n total en los proyectos en los que particip\u00f3, desde el gui\u00f3n y la preproducci\u00f3n hasta el montaje final.<\/p>\n<p>Curiosamente, en su juventud fue futbolista profesional, jugando durante cinco a\u00f1os en primera divisi\u00f3n. Pero pronto decidi\u00f3 dedicarse a su gran vocaci\u00f3n cinematogr\u00e1fica y se traslad\u00f3 a Madrid, formando su propia productora en el a\u00f1o 63 y llegando a producir m\u00e1s de cincuenta pel\u00edculas en las que dio paso a un nuevo cine que rompi\u00f3 moldes especialmente en los conflictivos tiempos del franquismo y la transici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El\u00edas Querejeta es nuestro autor del mes septiembre.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">El\u00edas Querejeta, one of the most important figures of Spanish cinema, was the quintessential producer and he led many of the greatest Spanish films of the last forty years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">His double facet as producer-author and his total involvement in the projects where he participated, from the script and pre-production to the final editing\u00a0is often mentioned by those who met him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">In his youth he was a professional football player and he played five years in the Spanish premier league.
