\nEllas, Filipinas documents the Filipino diaspora in Hong Kong, where more than 150,000 women live and work as domestic helpers. Every Sunday, their only day off, they gather in the financial district of the city, transforming the public areas into their own domestic spaces. Ellas, Filipinas is part of the Female, open space invaders exhibition. It was filmed in Hong Kong, and in the Philippines.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
