{"id":4210,"date":"2013-04-22T13:32:35","date_gmt":"2013-04-22T13:32:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/londres\/?p=4210"},"modified":"2013-04-22T13:38:07","modified_gmt":"2013-04-22T13:38:07","slug":"premios-principe-de-asturias-the-prince-of-asturias-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/londres\/2013\/04\/22\/premios-principe-de-asturias-the-prince-of-asturias-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Premios Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias | the Prince of Asturias award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Actividad especial<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Premios Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias: la contribuci\u00f3n de estos galardones a los valores cient\u00edficos, culturales y human\u00edsticos que son patrimonio univesal.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>JUE 25, 6:30pm<br \/>\nAuditorio del Instituto Cervantes de Londres<\/p>\n<p>La directora de la Fundaci\u00f3n Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias,\u00a0<strong>Teresa Sanjurjo<\/strong>, hablar\u00e1 sobre la historia de la Fundaci\u00f3n y su principal actividad: la concesi\u00f3n y entrega de los Premios Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4211\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/londres\/files\/2013\/04\/principes.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"272\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La Fundaci\u00f3n Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias se constituy\u00f3 en la ciudad de Oviedo (Principado de Asturias-Espa\u00f1a) el 24 de septiembre de 1980, en un acto solemne que estuvo presidido por Su Alteza Real el Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias, Heredero de la Corona de Espa\u00f1a, a quien acompa\u00f1aban sus padres, Sus Majestades los Reyes.\u00a0La Fundaci\u00f3n es una instituci\u00f3n privada sin \u00e1nimo de lucro cuyos objetivos primordiales son consolidar los v\u00ednculos existentes entre el Principado y el Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias y contribuir a la exaltaci\u00f3n y promoci\u00f3n de cuantos valores cient\u00edficos, culturales y human\u00edsticos son patrimonio universal.\u00a0Como s\u00edmbolo de estos fines \u00faltimos de la Fundaci\u00f3n Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias y adoptando la denominaci\u00f3n del t\u00edtulo que hist\u00f3ricamente pertenece al Heredero de la Corona de Espa\u00f1a, se crearon en 1981 los Premios Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias. Destinados a galardonar la labor cient\u00edfica, t\u00e9cnica, cultural, social y humanitaria realizada por personas, instituciones, grupos de personas o de instituciones en el \u00e1mbito internacional, se conceden en ocho categor\u00edas: Artes, Letras, Ciencias Sociales, Comunicaci\u00f3n y Humanidades, Investigaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica y T\u00e9cnica, Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional, Concordia y Deportes.Los premios son entregados en una ceremonia anual por Su Alteza Real el Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias, Presidente de Honor de la instituci\u00f3n, acompa\u00f1ado por Su Alteza Real la Princesa de Asturias y por Su Majestad la Reina de Espa\u00f1a.<br \/>\nDesde la primera edici\u00f3n, celebrada en 1981, numerosas personalidades internacionales han recibido estos premios. They are conferred in eight different categories: the Arts, Literature, Social Sciences, Communication and Humanities, Technical and Scientific Research, International Cooperation, Concord and Sports.\u00a0The awards are presented at an annual ceremony by His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias, Honorary President of the institution, accompanied by HRH the Princess of Asturias and Her Majesty the Queen of Spain.
