Es editor jefe del \u00abHispanic Research Journal\u00bb. Tambi\u00e9n dirige el consejo editorial de\u00a0\u00abStudies in Hispanic and Lusophone Cultures\u00bb, una nueva colecci\u00f3n de escritos publicada por Legenda (Oxford). Sus monograf\u00edas m\u00e1s recientes incluyen un relevante estudio en espa\u00f1ol de los moriscos del Campo de Calatrava en Espa\u00f1a (2007). En la actualidad, se encuentra trabajando en una edici\u00f3n de las m\u00e1s de 500 letras que el conde de Salinas enviara como Viceroy desde Lisboa entre 1617 y 1622. Es miembro del consejo de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hispanistas de Gran Breta\u00f1a e Irlanda. Ha coordinado investigaciones tanto sobre la Edad de Oro espa\u00f1ola como sobre poes\u00eda contempor\u00e1nea espa\u00f1ola. He is Editor-in-Chief of the \u00abHispanic Research Journal\u00bb. He also chairs the Editorial Board of \u00abStudies in Hispanic and Lusophone Cultures\u00bb, a new series of texts published by Legenda (Oxford). His recent monographs include a major study in Spanish of the\u00a0<em>Moriscos<\/em>\u00a0of the Campo de Calatrava in Spain (2007). At the moment he is working on an edition of the more than 500 letters the Count of Salinas sent as Viceroy from Lisbon between 1617 and 1622. He is a member of the Board of the Association of Hispanists of Great Britain and Ireland. He has supervised research on both the Spanish Golden Age and contemporary Spanish poetry. Since 2008 he has been a Fellow of the British Academy.<\/p>\n<p>This interesting <strong>conversation will be conducted by Julio Crespo MacLennan<\/strong> , director of the Instituto Cervantes London.
