Goya – Visions of Flesh and Blood<\/strong>\u00a0trae a la gran pantalla por primera vez la complicada vida y extraordinaria capacidad art\u00edstica de Francisco de Goya.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de dar acceso privilegiado a la reconocida exhibici\u00f3n \u00abGoya: The Portraits\u00bb, la pel\u00edcula pinta un retrato cautivador del propio\u00a0artista<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s de las observaciones hechas por\u00a0expertos internacionales, las obras de arte de conocidas colecciones y las visitas a las localidades espa\u00f1olas en las que vivi\u00f3 y trabaj\u00f3 el artista.<\/p>\n

Desde la butaca, el p\u00fablico acceder\u00e1 en primicia a la exhibici\u00f3n de la National Gallery de la mano del curador\u00a0Xavier Bray. Grabada en alta resoluci\u00f3n y con una calidad exquisita, esta colecci\u00f3n de obras destacadas mostrar\u00e1\u00a0el talento de Goya como retratista y comentarista social<\/strong>. Algunos de los trabajos m\u00e1s queridos del artista se inspiran en varios lugares a lo largo y ancho de Espa\u00f1a, desde los campos sevillanos hasta las capillas y palacios de Madrid<\/strong>, y todos ellos aparecen en la pel\u00edcula. A trav\u00e9s de la misma, el p\u00fablico tambi\u00e9n podr\u00e1\u00a0visitar\u00a0el Museo Nacional del Prado en Madrid, que muestra varias obras relevantes de Goya incluyendo \u00abla familia de Carlos IV\u00bb, las cuales contribuyen a ilustrar su relaci\u00f3n con la alta sociedad espa\u00f1ola.<\/p>\n

As well as providing unrestricted access to the acclaimed exhibition Goya: The Portraits, the film builds\u00a0a compelling portrait of the artist himself<\/strong> through insights from international experts, masterpieces from\u00a0renowned collections and visits to the locations in which Spain\u2019s most celebrated artist lived and worked.<\/p>\n

Audiences will enjoy a front row seat to the National\u00a0Gallery\u2019s exhibition, guided by lead curator Xavier Bray.\u00a0Filmed in exquisite high-resolution, this collection of\u00a0outstanding works will reveal Goya\u2019s gift as a portraitist\u00a0and social commentator<\/strong>. Extensive location footage,\u00a0from the beautiful countryside of Seville to the\u00a0grand chapels and royal palaces of Madrid<\/strong>, traces\u00a0the inspiration behind, and settings for, some of Goya\u2019s\u00a0best-loved works. The film also allows the audience to\u00a0step inside the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid,\u00a0presenting a number of significant Goya holdings\u00a0including \u2018The Family of Carlos IV\u2019, which further\u00a0illuminate his relationship to Spanish high society.<\/p>\n

Rare access to Goya\u2019s \u2018Italian Notebook\u2019, a\u00a0sketchbook made in Italy between 1769-71, will\u00a0connect viewers to Goya\u2019s most intimate moments of\u00a0reflection<\/strong>. They will also gain a closer \u00a0understanding of\u00a0the psychology of the portrait painter through\u00a0interviews with esteemed modern artists Dryden\u00a0Goodwin and Nicola Philipps, who has painted the\u00a0portrait of TRH’s Princes William and Harry.<\/p>\n
