Como en su pueblo varios otros ni\u00f1os se llamaban Francisco (Paco) y tocaban la guitarra, pas\u00f3 a ser Paco de Luc\u00eda (Paco, el de Luc\u00eda) para que se le pudiera distinguir de los dem\u00e1s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Igual que ocurriera en su momento con Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, fue el padre de Paco de Luc\u00eda quien le encamin\u00f3 hacia la m\u00fasica profesional desde los 5 a\u00f1os, siendo bastante estricto en la metodolog\u00eda de formaci\u00f3n del muchacho y haci\u00e9ndole practicar m\u00e1s de 5 horas diarias en las \u00e9pocas intensas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Las primeras salidas al extranjero de Paco de Luc\u00eda\u00a0le abrieron a nuevos g\u00e9neros musicales y propiciaron su inter\u00e9s por otros ritmos, en especial el jazz.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Fue el creador del llamado \u201cnuevo flamenco\u201d, que incorporaba elementos de otros g\u00e9neros.
