Detractores y partidarios de todos los estratos sociales nutren diariamente uno de los negocios m\u00e1s rentables de la edad contempor\u00e1nea<\/strong> del que es casi imposible mantenerse al margen.
\nDeporte y negocio van de la mano, en ocasiones, de grandes esc\u00e1ndalos que no hacen retroceder el avance imparable del deporte astro por excelencia.
\nIntelectuales, periodistas y economistas se posicionan a favor y en contra de este gran fen\u00f3meno social que mueve millones, ensalza h\u00e9roes nacionales y que es a d\u00eda de hoy una de las grandes pasiones de nuestra \u00e9poca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nOn Friday 20 May we will focus our Conversation Club session on trying to ascertain if football is a sport or a business<\/strong>.
\n
\nDetractors and defenders from all social backgrounds regularly feed one of the most lucrative contemporary businesses<\/strong>, and it is becoming increasingly hard to stay away from it.
\nSport and business occasionally go hand in hand with great\u00a0scandals<\/strong>, which do not hinder the growth of the king sport.
\nIntellectuals, journalists and economists take up stances for and against this social phenomenon that moves millions, praises\u00a0national heroes and is one of the greatest passions of our era<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We will use various readings to further explore the unknown facets of the cultural manifestation that football is. Let the discussion begin!<\/p>\n
