\n 14h: Clase previa de dicci\u00f3n y entonaci\u00f3n con el actor y director espa\u00f1ol Jorge de Juan<\/strong><\/p>\n

En 2016 se celebra el centenario de la muerte de Rub\u00e9n Dar\u00edo, poeta nicarag\u00fcense iniciador y m\u00e1ximo exponente del movimiento literario hispanoamericano conocido como modernismo<\/strong>, que floreci\u00f3 a finales del siglo XIX. Dar\u00edo ha influido notable y largamente en la literatura y el periodismo en lengua espa\u00f1ola del siglo XX. Fue aclamado como el indiscutido \u00abPr\u00edncipe de las Letras Castellanas\u00bb.<\/p>\n

En nuestro D\u00eda de Puertas Abiertas, el Instituto Cervantes os propone participar gratuitamente en una lectura de poemas de Rub\u00e9n en nuestro auditorio. Previamente, a las 14:ooh, habr\u00e1 una clase preparatoria de dicci\u00f3n y entonaci\u00f3n por parte del actor espa\u00f1ol Jorge de Juan<\/strong>, quien cerrar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n la lectura p\u00fablica. Los interesados, hablantes de espa\u00f1ol como lengua extranjera, pod\u00e9is inscribiros \u00a0enviando un correo electr\u00f3nico a cultlon1@cervantes.es, y pasar a recoger en la biblioteca un poema o fragmento para leer tras recibir confirmaci\u00f3n<\/strong>. \u00a1Plazas limitadas!<\/p>\n

Finalizaremos el acto con una recepci\u00f3n ofrecida por la Embajada de Nicaragua.<\/p>\n

Una colaboraci\u00f3n entre la Embajada de Nicaragua en el Reino Unido y el Instituto Cervantes para celebrar el centenario de la muerte de Rub\u00e9n Dar\u00edo.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n2 pm: preliminary training in diction and intonation by Spanish actor and director Jorge de Juan<\/strong><\/p>\n

2016 marks the centenary of Ruben Dario’s death. Dario, a Nicaraguan poet who initiated and was the most outstanding example of the Latin American literary movement emerged in late sXIX known as modernism<\/strong>. Ruben Dario largely influenced Spanish literature and journalism throughout sXX. He was praised\u00a0as the undisputed \u00abprince of Castilian literature\u00bb at the time.<\/p>\n

Within the context of Instituto Cervantes London’s Open Day this coming 18 June, we would like to invite you to join us in reading Ruben Dario’s poems at our Auditorium free of charge. The reading will be preceded by a masterclass in diction and intonation, held by Spanish renowned actor and director Jorge de Juan. <\/strong>De Juan\u00a0<\/strong>will also be in charge of closing the reading.<\/p>\n

Interested? If you are a speaker of Spanish as a foreign language, you can sign up for the reading activity\u00a0by emailing cultlon1@cervantes.es and come by our library to collect your poem or excerpt\u00a0to read once you have received confirmation<\/strong>. Hurry up, availability is very limited!<\/p>\n
