Las Navidades están muy cerca y para celebrar su llegada, el Instituto Cervantes ha organizado un concierto muy especial el próximo 17 de diciembre, a cargo de los estudiantes de nuestro taller de Música Coral. Interpretarán algunas de las canciones del repertorio que llevan ensayando desde octubre, y habrá además varias sorpresas, ¡nos lo vamos a pasar genial!

El concierto será en el Salón de Actos del Instituto, de 19 a 20 horas, y la entrada es gratuita. ¡Ven a vernos!

Christmas are coming and in order to celebrate them, Instituto Cervantes has organised a very special concert for the next 17th December. The students of our Choral Music Workshops will perform some of the songs of the repertoire they’ve been rehearsing since October. Besides, there will be several surprises, we’ll have a great time!

The concert will be at our Great Hall, from 7 to 8pm, and it is free entry. A Latin American letter is a new and original composition by Chilean Artist Francisco Carrasco and presented by six exceptional artists who narrate a poignant and extraordinary story of the experience of leaving home. It takes inspiration from a personal letter and questions what might have been and expresses feelings of joy and sorrow. The powerful performances takes a musical journey told through songs, spoken word, multi-media, art, a range of reeds, strings, keyboards, drums and other percussion instruments, presenting a rich tapestry of the diverse rhythms and haunting melodies of Latin America.

An Afternoon Concert With The Liverpool String Quartet

Tickets: £7.50 / £4.50 Come along and hear The Liverpool String Quartet in a special concert, performing with our guest artist Spanish pianist Kiev Portella playing masterpieces by Schumann and Cesar Franck.

The ensemble was formed in 2010 and have enjoyed a busy concert schedule, playing across Europe to critical acclaim.

They will be performing at the end of this month as part of the prestigious Festival Internacional de Musica de Menorca and touring Spain next November.
