Los pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong> pueden presumir de tener una amplia y variada diversidad cultural y or\u00edgenes \u00e9tnicos. La colonizaci\u00f3n ib\u00e9rica<\/strong> de una gran parte del continente sudamericano<\/strong> en el siglo XVI provoc\u00f3 la introducci\u00f3n de la cultura y religi\u00f3n tanto francesa, espa\u00f1ola como portuguesa en el continente. Esta fusi\u00f3n ha permitido el desarrollo de uno de los ejemplos m\u00e1s claros de mezcolanza cultural<\/strong> existentes hoy en d\u00eda. Es por ello que el Institute for Cultural Diplomacy<\/strong><\/em> ha desarrollado el Simposio Internacional en Diplomacia Cultural en Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong> con el objetivo de presentar al mundo una original perspectiva de Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong> y su legado \u00fanico y explorar\u00e1 el potencial de su arte y cultural para apoyar su desarrollo regional.<\/p>\n

The countries of Latin America<\/strong> play host to a diverse range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The Iberian colonization<\/strong> of large parts of the South American<\/strong> continent<\/strong> in the 16th century led to the introduction of French<\/strong>, Spanish<\/strong>, and Portuguese culture<\/strong> in the region, and this m\u00e9lange, (strengthened even further by the cultural remnants of pre-Columbian civilizations<\/strong>, the influx of European immigrants in the 19th and 20th centuries, and the introduction of Africans to the continent), has led to the development of one of the most clear-cut examples of a cultural melting pot in current existence.
