\"uribe_carrasco_IC_Raquel<\/a>El Instituto Cervantes de M\u00e1nchester participa en la d\u00e9cima edici\u00f3n del Manchester Literature Festival, y la semana que viene ser\u00e1 de lo m\u00e1s literaria. El martes 13, los escritores Kirmen Uribe y Jes\u00fas Carrasco charlar\u00e1n sobre su pasi\u00f3n, la literatura, a la par que presentar\u00e1n sus obras traducidas al ingl\u00e9s (Bilbao-New York-Bilbao <\/em>e Intemperie<\/em>, respectivamente). El jueves 15, ser\u00e1 el turno de la autora catalana Care Santos, que hablar\u00e1 sobre su \u00faltima novela, Deseo de Chocolate<\/em>. Ambas citas estar\u00e1n moderadas por la traductora Mariana Casale O’Ryan.<\/p>\n

Las dos charlas son abiertas al p\u00fablico y gratuitas, si bien es necesario realizar la reserva a trav\u00e9s de la p\u00e1gina web de Manchester Literature Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n

El Instituto Cervantes organiza estas actividades en colaboraci\u00f3n con el Instituto Etxepare (en lo referente a Kirmen Uribe) y Literature Across Frontieres.<\/p>\n

Instituto Cervantes in Manchester will take part in the 10th edition of Manchester Literature Festival, so next week will be very literary. On Tuesday 13th October, Spanish writers Kirmen Uribe and Jesus Carrasco will discuss about their passion: literature. They will talk about their novels translated into English as well (Bilbao-New York-Bilbao <\/em>and Out in the Open<\/em>, respectively). On Thursday 15th October, it will be the Catalan writer Care Santos who will take the word and introduce her latest novel, Desire for Chocolate<\/em>. Both talks will be chaired by translator Mariana Casale O’Ryan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The events are free entry but you should book your place through Manchester Literature Festival<\/span><\/a>‘s website.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instituto Cervantes organises these activities in collaboration with Etxepare Institute (regarding Kirmen Uribe) and Literature Across Frontieres.<\/span><\/p>\n
