D\u00eda del Libro – Books\u00b4Day<\/p><\/div>\n

El 23 de abril de 1616 fallec\u00edan Shakespeare y Cervantes, una fecha tan simb\u00f3lica para la literatura universal que fue la escogida para rendir un homenaje mundial al libro y sus autores y promover la lectura. Espa\u00f1a celebra este d\u00eda regalando rosas y libros, y el Instituto Cervantes de Manchester se ha sumado a este gesto.<\/p>\n

Ac\u00e9rcate este s\u00e1bado y disfruta de todas las actividades organizadas en torno a Cervantes y la literatura hispana completamente gratis: un mercadillo de libros, lectura de poemas, actividades para ni\u00f1os relacionadas con El Quijote y una recepci\u00f3n de vino y snacks. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n recibir\u00e1s uno de nuestros libros o una rosa como obsequio. (+)<\/a><\/p>\n

The 23rd of April, 1616 saw the deaths of both Shakespeare and Cervantes. This date was so important for universal literature that was chosen to celebrate World Book Day and to pay homage to the writers and to promote the importance of reading. Spanish people celebrate that day giving away roses and books, and Instituto Cervantes in Manchester has joined this tradition.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Come this Saturday and enjoy all the activities that we have organised around Cervantes and Spanish literature completely free: a book market, poetry reading, a workshop for kids about El Quijote and a wine and snack reception.
