Choc\u00f3 es una mujer campesina, en la plenitud de sus veinte a\u00f1os que lleva a cuestas una familia de dos hijos menores y a Everlides, su esposo, un m\u00fasico que s\u00f3lo sabe tocar marimba, beber biche y jugar domin\u00f3. En la ma\u00f1ana ella trabaja buscando oro en el r\u00edo San Juan y en las tardes lava ropa de otras familias para alimentar y educar a sus hijos.<\/p>\n
