\"\"<\/a>Antonio Altarriba<\/strong>\u00a0 (Zaragoza, 1952) es un ensayista, novelista, cr\u00edtico y guionista de historietas y televisi\u00f3n espa\u00f1ol.\u00a0Ejerce de catedr\u00e1tico\u00a0de literatura francesa en la Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco.<\/p>\n

En los a\u00f1os ochenta se inici\u00f3 en el mundo de la novela gr\u00e1fica,\u00a0 pero fue durante los a\u00f1os noventa\u00a0cuando se\u00a0\u00a0dedic\u00f3 sobre todo a la literatura. Participa as\u00ed en las antolog\u00edas Relatos de Zaragoza (1990), Narrativa corta en Euskadi (1992) y Los que m\u00e1s cuentan (1995), quedando finalista en el XVIII Premio La sonrisa vertical (1996) por Los cuerpos entretejidos.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

A pesar de ganar el Premio Euskadi de Literatura en 2002 con su novela La memoria de la nieve<\/em>, en el nuevo siglo, vuelve a dedicarse con fuerza a la novela gr\u00e1fica, produciendo ensayos y guiones. Entre estos \u00faltimos, destaca El arte de volar<\/em> (2009), una biograf\u00eda de su padre, que se suicid\u00f3 a los 90 a\u00f1os en una residencia para personas mayores, por la que ha obtenido multitud de premios, como el del mejor gui\u00f3n el Festival de Barcelona (2009) o el premio Nacional del C\u00f3mic (2010).<\/p>\n

El arte de volar<\/em>, publicada con \u00e9xito en Francia, Alemania, Italia\u00a0y Turqu\u00eda, est\u00e1 considerada como una de las obras m\u00e1s importantes de\u00a0novela gr\u00e1fica\u00a0espa\u00f1ola de todos los tiempos.<\/p>\n

Antonio Altarriba<\/strong> (Zaragoza, 1952) is a Spanish essay-writer, novelist, critic and a short stories scriptwriter. He is currently working as a lecturer of French literature at the Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the eighties he began working in the graphic novel field, but it wasn\u2019t until the nineties that he started writing literature professionally. It was during this time that he wrote Relatos de Zaragoza (1990), Narrativa corta en Euskadi (1992), Los que m\u00e1s cuentan (1995) and Los cuerpos entretejidos, (1996) finalist of the XVIII edition of La Sonrisa Vertical Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although he won the Premio Euskadi de Literatura with his novel, La memoria de la nieve, at the start of the century he went back to focus heavily on graphic novels, producing essays and screenplays. It is worth noting that El arte de volar (2009) is actually his father\u2019s biography, who committed a suicide when he was 90 years old. Antonio Altarriba has received many awards for this work, such as best screen play at the Festival de Barcelona (2009) and the Premio Nacional del C\u00f3mic (2010).<\/span><\/p>\n

El arte de volar, published in France, Germany, Italy and Turkey, is considered to be one of the most influential Spanish graphic novel ever written.<\/span><\/p>\n
