Fue profesor en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y ense\u00f1\u00f3 sobre Copi y Rimbaud, al igual que \u00a0en la Universidad de Rosario sobre constructivismo y Mallarm\u00e9 y ha traducido y editado libros de Francia, Inglaterra, Italia, Brasil, Espa\u00f1a, M\u00e9xico, y Venezuela. Quiz\u00e1s uno de los escritores mas prol\u00edficos de Argentina, y sin duda uno de los mas conocidos en Latinoam\u00e9rica, Aira ha publicado m\u00e1s de ochenta libros hasta la fecha en Argentina, M\u00e9xico, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile y Espa\u00f1a, los cuales han sido traducidos para Francia, Gran Breta\u00f1a, Italia, Brasil, Portugal, Grecia, Austria, Rumania, Rusia y ahora para los Estados Unidos. Una novela, <em>La prueba<\/em>, fue convertida en un largometraje y \u00a0C\u00f3mo me hice monja fue elegida como uno de los mejores 10 libros en Argentina. Adem\u00e1s de ensayos y novelas, Aira escribe constantemente para el peri\u00f3dico espa\u00f1ol El Pa\u00eds. Me inst\u00f3 que terminara Harvard y despu\u00e9s hiciera \u201calgo\u201d \u00fatil\u201d.<\/em><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ndbooks.com\" target=\"_blank\">New Directions<\/a> <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">has generously donated a collection of the works of C\u00e9sar Aira in English translation. He taught at the University of Buenos Aires (about Copi and Rimbaud) and at the University of Rosario (Constructivism and Mallarm\u00e9), and has translated and edited books from France, England, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, and Venezuela. Perhaps one of the most prolific writers in Argentina, and certainly one of the most talked about in Latin America, Aira has published more than eighty books to date in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, and Spain, which have been translated for France, Great Britain, Italy, Brazil, Portugal, Greece, Austria, Romania, Russia, and now the United States. One novel, <em>La prueba<\/em>, has been made into a feature film, and How I Became a Nun was chosen as one of Argentina\u2019s ten best books. Besides essays and novels Aira writes regularly for the Spanish newspaper El Pa\u00eds.
