A la hora de planear un viaje a Espa\u00f1a se han de tomar muchas e importantes decisiones. Normalmente el tiempo para las vacaciones es limitado y hay que hacer una selecci\u00f3n muy cuidadosa de las ciudades y regiones que se quieren visitar. Un viaje que incluya ciudades emblem\u00e1ticas como Toledo, Madrid, Salamanca, Sevilla, C\u00e1diz, Granada, Oviedo y Alburquerque ser\u00eda una apuesta casi segura para disfrutar de la riqueza hist\u00f3rica y la variedad de paisajes de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Curiosamente, este viaje se puede realizar sin salir de Estados Unidos. Debido a una historia com\u00fan y a la presencia de espa\u00f1oles varios siglos atr\u00e1s en algunas partes del pa\u00eds, muchas ciudades de Estados Unidos tienen nombres de origen espa\u00f1ol. Entre todas estas localidades -unas son grandes ciudades, otras \u00a0sencillos pueblecitos- algunas fueron bautizadas con el mismo nombre que poblaciones ya existentes en Espa\u00f1a. \u00bfQu\u00e9 tal si vemos las diferencias entre unas y otras?<\/p>\n

When planning a trip to Spain we need to make many important decisions, for example and most importantly, which cities to visit. Our holiday time is always limited and we want to make the right choices. There’s no doubt that a trip around Spain including cities such as Toledo, Madrid, Salamanca, Sevilla, C\u00e1diz, Granada, Oviedo and Albuquerque would be a winning choice in order to enjoy the rich history and varied landscapes of Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n

But did you know that you can do exactly the same trip without leaving the United States? Because of the common history and the presence of Spaniards in US land centuries ago, there is a high percentage of U.S. cities with\u00a0Spanish names.\u00a0Of\u00a0all these cities and towns, some were named after older Spanish cities.\u00a0Do you want to see the differences between each other?<\/span><\/p>\n
