Andr\u00e9s Soria Olmedo<\/strong>, catedr\u00e1tico de Literatura Espa\u00f1ola de la Universidad de Granada, evocar\u00e1 la estancia de Garc\u00eda Lorca en la ciudad y se centrar\u00e1 en el an\u00e1lisis del poema New York: oficina y denuncia<\/em><\/strong>, le\u00eddo en el contexto de la serie de poemas sobre la ciudad al que pertenecen Whitman, Baudelaire, Eliot, Juan Ram\u00f3n Jim\u00e9nez, y en el de la obra del propio poeta, dentro y fuera del libro Poeta en Nueva York (cartas a la familia, conferencia- recital). <\/span>La lectura se detendr\u00e1 en los aspectos sociales,\u00a0 religiosos y de autoidentidad, ligados fuertemente en el poema y el libro.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Andr\u00e9s Soria Olmedo<\/strong>, professor of Spanish literature at the University of Granada, will recall Garc\u00eda Lorca’s stay in the city and focus on an analysis of the poem \u00abNew York: Office and Denunciation,\u00bb<\/strong> read in the context of a series of poems about the city that includes works by Whitman, Baudelaire, Eliot, Juan Ram\u00f3n Jim\u00e9nez and the poet’s own work from Poet in New York, as well as letters to his family and conference lectures.
