Luis Garc\u00eda Berlanga fetichista confeso y creador del premio de literatura La sonrisa vertical era m\u00e1s defensor del encanto fetichista individual y del erotismo que fetichista en el sentido literal de la palabra. En sus pel\u00edculas apenas asoma el erotismo acaso unido a situaciones humor\u00edsticas donde podemos encontrar alg\u00fan referente impl\u00edcito pero\u00a0no expl\u00edcito. Es indudable que le gustaban las mujeres bellas, la literatura er\u00f3tica, los zapatos de tac\u00f3n de aguja y las medias con costura vista.\u00a0No obstante,\u00a0de la defensa y curiosidad a la pr\u00e1ctica hay m\u00e1s que libros de erotismo. Los fetiches de Luis eran otros a los que podamos pensar. En la ponencia y mesa redonda que tendr\u00e1 lugar en el Instituto Cervantes de Nueva York se analizar\u00e1 hasta d\u00f3nde y qu\u00e9 tipo de fetichismo practicaba el cineasta a partir de su vida y su obra<\/span><\/h4>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center\"><span style=\"color:#800000\"><em>Berlanga, His Family and Other Creatures: Fetichism, Eroticism &amp; Stilettos<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"color:#800000\"><em>Eroticism, Fetishism, and Stiletto High Heels is an essay by Guillermina Royo-Villanova in which these three concepts are adulterated in order to become more unadulterated by the Berlanguesque whip, the deconstruction of a myth. Luis Garc\u00eda Berlanga, confessed fetishist and founder of the erotic literature prize \u00abThe Vertical Smile,\u00bb is more a defender of the individual wonder of the fetishist and of the eroticism of fetishism than a fetishist in the literal sense. In his films, the eroticism barely peeks out its head, usually attached to humorous situations where we can infer some implicit erotic references, but never explicitly. There is no doubt that he loved beautiful women, erotic literature, stiletto high heels and exposed panty hose. However, his defense and curiosity of fetishism went beyond books on eroticism. Luis&#8217;s fetishes were more complex than we can imagine.
