Susana Fortes<\/strong> will present her latest book, <\/em>‘Esperando\u00a0a Robert Capa’ (Waiting for Robert Capa),<\/strong> recently published in English by <\/em>Harper Collins, <\/strong>transleted by Adriana V. L\u00f3pez<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

La novela se centra en la relaci\u00f3n sentimental entre el c\u00e9lebre fot\u00f3grafo y su amante Gerda Taro, tambi\u00e9n reportera gr\u00e1fica; as\u00ed como en el periodo que ambos viven en Espa\u00f1a durante la Guerra Civil. Los derechos del libro han sido adquiridos por el director Michael Mann, qui\u00e9n la adaptar\u00e1 pr\u00f3ximamente a la gran pantalla. <\/span><\/p>\n

The novel is based in the love story and professional relationship between\u00a0the young German woman Gerta\u00a0Taro and\u00a0the famous photographer Robert Capa since they met in Paris in 1935 until she died in the Spanish Civil war in 1937.\u00a0Love, war and photography marked their lives. They were young, antifascist, good-looking and nonconformist. They had everything in life and they put everything at risk. They created their own legend and remained faithful to it until the last consequences.\u00a0Film rights to the novel have been purchased by director Michael Mann, who will soon adapt the story to the silver screen.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
