Bajo una acci\u00f3n conjunta del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores<\/em>, del Ministerio de \u00a0Educaci\u00f3n, Cultura y Deporte<\/em> y del Instituto<\/em> Cervantes<\/em> se propone esta interesante iniciativa, que difunde en los EEUU lo mejor de nuestro patrimonio, al tiempo que presenta lo m\u00e1s novedoso de nuestro panorama cultural.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

La Oficina Cultural<\/em><\/strong> de la Embajada de Espa\u00f1a en Washington<\/em><\/strong> ofrece esta programaci\u00f3n en \u00a0estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con la red de Consulados Generales<\/em>, los Institutos Cervantes<\/em> de Nueva York, Chicago, Albuquerque, Boston y Seattle y la Spain-USA Foundation<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

SPAIN arts & culture in EEUU<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

This edition presents dynamic view of different cultural and artistic trends from <\/em>Spain touring 18 U.S.<\/strong>cities.<\/strong> In collaboration with some of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the country we have boosted the vitality of the program with current <\/em>Photography, Architecture, Film, Design, Music, Literature, Performing Arts and Visual Arts.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From the works of masters such as <\/em>Picasso, Mir\u00f3 and Goya to <\/strong>the contemporary photography of Alberto Garc\u00eda-Alix<\/strong>, exhibited for the first time in the States; from the renowned guitarist <\/em>Paco de Luc\u00eda<\/strong> to the best indie bands participating in<\/em> South by Southwest Festival\u00a0<\/strong>. <\/em>Special attention to <\/em>post-digital contemporary design <\/strong>in Spain.\u00a0<\/em>Music<\/strong> is another highlight of this season. The <\/em>project\u00a0 Flamenco Soul <\/strong>represented with groups and soloists:<\/em> Vetusta Morla, <\/strong>Guadalupe plata, Raimundo <\/strong>and\u00a0 <\/em>Diego Amador, Quique Gonz\u00e1lez, Bigott, Mujeres, Za!, Furguson or L.A. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Film, \u2018Chico and Rita\u2019<\/em>, by <\/strong>Fernando Trueba, Javier Mariscal <\/strong>and Tono Errando. <\/strong>Fashion and <\/strong>cinema <\/strong>are combined in Desire Unlimited: The Cinema of Pedro Almod\u00f3var,<\/strong> a book that will be presented by designer David Delf\u00edn in New York. <\/em>The showing of \u00d1ew York,<\/strong> brings together the work of\u00a0 <\/em>Spanish and Latino <\/strong>artists <\/strong>residing in <\/em>New York.<\/strong> The exhibition BRAVOS<\/strong>, with its cutting edge designers, as well as <\/em>YAS: Young Architects of Spain<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
