Jonathan Cohen, elogiado por las traducciones de poemas de Ernesto Cardenal, Enrique Lihn y otros autores latinoamericanos, hablar\u00e1 de su trabajo de recopilaci\u00f3n y edici\u00f3n para el libro ‘By Word of Mouth: Poems from the Spanish’<\/em>, 1916-1959, una importante colecci\u00f3n de traducciones de William Carlos Williams<\/strong>, una de las figuras clave de la poes\u00eda norteamericana. <\/span><\/p>\n

El evento incluir\u00e1 im\u00e1genes exclusivas del poeta con su familia y amigos, as\u00ed como una grabaci\u00f3n de Williams leyendo su trabajo. <\/span><\/p>\n

En la presentaci\u00f3n intervendr\u00e1 Declan Spring<\/strong>, editor New Directions, y habr\u00e1 un recital por parte de la actriz Gy Mirano<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Acclaimed for his translations of Ernesto Cardenal, Enrique Lihn, and other Spanish-language poets, will read from and discuss his work compiling and editing By<\/strong> Word of Mouth: Poems from the Spanish, 1916-1959<\/strong> (New Directions, 2011), the first collection of Spanish translations by William Carlos Williams<\/strong>, the single most important U.S. poet of the twentieth century. <\/em><\/p>\n

The multimedia event will include documentary images of Williams and the poets he translated, as well as recordings of Williams talking about and reading from his work. <\/em><\/p>\n
