Rafael Rojas es uno de los cr\u00edticos culturales e historiadores del Caribe m\u00e1s distinguidos, as\u00ed como un reconocido escritor de la historia de Latinoamerica. Autor de numerosos\u00a0libros como\u00a0‘El estante vac\u00edo: literatura y pol\u00edtica en Cuba’.<\/em><\/span> Anagrama, 2009 o<\/strong> \u00bbTumbas sin sosiego: revoluci\u00f3n, disidencia y exilio del intelectual cubano’<\/em>.- Anagrama, 2006 y unos <\/span><\/span><\/span>cien ensayos, ha obtenido numerosos reconocimientos, \u00a0incluido el ‘Premio Mat\u00edas Romero’<\/em> (2001) y el ‘Premio Ensayo de Anagrama’\u00a0 <\/em>(2006). ‘The Oblivion Machine. Myth, History and Power in Cuba’<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Writer <\/em>Rafael Rojas<\/strong> will introduce a collection of essays about the history of ideas in Cuba, which analyses the beginning of its historiography, the political culture of the island prior to the Revolution and its constitution. Rojas will examine the little influence Cuba has had in countries that tried to follow <\/em>Fidel’s model, the construction of one sole <\/em>Castro discourse and the way its followers are determined that it survive.<\/em><\/p>\n

Rafael Rojas is one of Cuba’s most distinguished Caribbean historians and cultural critics, and a renowned\u00a0writer of Latin America history. Rojas is the author of many books <\/em>‘El estante vac\u00edo: literatura y pol\u00edtica en Cuba’.
