Su monumental escultura<span style=\"color: #993300\"> <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.cervantes.es\/nyork\/2011\/10\/28\/barcelo-en-la-union-square-de-nueva-york\/\"><span style=\"color: #993300\">Gran Elefandret<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span>, situada en <strong><em>Union Square<\/em><\/strong> ha sido una de las instalaciones m\u00e1s elogiadas. Asimismo Barcel\u00f3 ha conseguido atraer este a\u00f1o la atenci\u00f3n de la prensa gracias a su aparici\u00f3n en dos pel\u00edculas del director catal\u00e1n <strong>Isaki Lacuesta<\/strong>:<em> El cuaderno de barro<\/em> (The Clay Diaries) y <em>Los Pasos Dobles<\/em> (The Double Steps), ganadora de la <em>Concha de Oro <\/em>en el Festival de Cine de San Sebasti\u00e1n. Ambientadas en el paisaje africano, ambas cintas se inspiran en la fascinaci\u00f3n de Barcel\u00f3 por la gente, la belleza natural y las tradiciones art\u00edsticas de Mali. Barcel\u00f3 has also attracted the attention of the press this year by featuring in two films by Catalan director Isaki Lacuesta: El cuaderno de barro (The Clay Diaries) and Los Pasos Dobles (The Double Steps), winner of the <\/em><strong>Concha de oro<\/strong>, the top award at the <strong>San Sebasti\u00e1n International Film Festival<\/strong><em>.
