With the new school year upon us, we would like to take a moment to remind the public about the resources and services available at the ‘Jorge Luis Borges’ library at Instituto Cervantes New York.

We have a world-class selection of Spanish language materials, with holding exceeding 85,000 items, making us one of the largest circulating libraries of Spanish language materials in the United States.

Our literature collection contains more than 50,000 titles and is continuously updated. Here are some of the types of items you will find:

• Original works of literature, both classic and contemporary (fiction, poetry and drama).
• English translations of important works of Spanish language  literature.
• Works of literary history and criticism.
• In depth criticism and interpretation of specific authors.
