En ‘Busca del Primer Europeo’ es un film en clave de road movie que combina humor y aventuras coprotagonizado por el codirector de Atapuerca, Eudald Carbonell. Un joven en busca de respuestas y un eminente arqueólogo vivirán una aventura en la que recorrerán tres continentes buscando pistas del pasado que arrojen luz sobre el presente y el futuro de nuestra especie.
El documental – DVD 2009. 50 min – ha sido galardonado con el Prismas 2011; Premio Especial Roma DOCSCIENT 2011 y seleccionado en el Festival de Cine de Zaragoza. Coproducido por Turkana Films y TVE, con la ayuda de FECYT e IPHES. En español con subtítulos en inglés

The film has been awarded «Best Documentary» in Spain’s 2011 «Prismas»; «Scientific Jury Grand Prize Special Award / Menzione Speciale» in Rome’s 2011 DOCSCIENT; and «Oficial Selection» at the Zaragoza Film Festival 2011. In Spanish with English subtitles.

After its exhibition at Lincoln Center, Instituto Cervantes New York presents a collection of twenty-four drawings, the work of the cartoonist Andrés Rábago, also known as El Roto, renowned for his satirical cartoon contributions to the Spanish newspaper El País.
The exhibition will start with a roundtable discussion in which Andrés Rábago will be joined by Jeff Danziger, a contributing cartoonist to The New York Times. They will talk about the use of satire in Spain and the United States, and open up the discussion to the audience.
