¿Qué es DELE?

Los DELE son títulos oficiales, acreditativos del grado de competencia y dominio del idioma español, que otorga el Instituto Cervantes en nombre del Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte de España.

El DELE certifica el nivel de capacidad alcanzado por los candidatos, independientemente de dónde y cuándo se han llevado a cabo sus estudios de español, y son válidos por tiempo indefinido.

¿Por qué me podría interesar el DELE?

• Son los únicos títulos oficiales de Español como Lengua Extranjera (ELE) o como Segunda Lengua (EL2) en los correspondientes niveles.
• Son títulos expedidos por el Instituto Cervantes en nombre del Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia.
• Son reconocidos internacionalmente por empresas privadas, cámaras de comercio y sistemas educativos públicos y privados.
• Son acreditación suficiente para cualquier actividad profesional o académica en España para la que se requiera ese nivel de conocimiento.
• Son méritos para los solicitantes de las becas MAE – AECI.
• Facilitan la obtención de visados de estudios para España al acreditar el nivel de español.
• Tienen validez indefinida.

¿Cómo me inscribo?

• Por favor facilítenos la siguiente documentación en persona, por correo electrónico (classprogram@cervantes.org ) o fax (212-308-7721):
• Formulario de inscripción (firmado y fechado).
• Fotocopia del pasaporte vigente.
• Pago: Efectivo, cheque o tarjeta de crédito (Visa, MasterCard, Discover y American Express).

What is the DELE?

The DELE, granted by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education are official and international acreditations of a person’s degree of proficiency in Spanish. The diplomas can be obtained by sitting an examination that tests the candidates’ ability to read, write, speak and understand spoken Spanish, according to internationally standardized levels of competence established by the Council of Europe in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Why take the DELE?

• The only official diploma in Spanish internationally recognized.
• Issued by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education & Science.
• Recognized by corporations, chambers of commerce, private and public educational institutions.
• Enhances your CV when applying for MAE – AECI scholarships.
• Facilitates the process of obtaining a student visa to Spain.
• Does not expire or has to be renewed.

How do I register?

Please provide us with the following documents in person, by mail (classprogram@cervantes.org) or fax (212-308-7721):

• Registration form (signed and dated)
• Photocopy of current passport
• Payment: cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) accepted

Mientras Miami rinde homenaje a España en el 30 aniversario de la Feria Internacional del Libro, Orlando acoge, del 21 al 24 de noviembre ACTFL, el Foro Internacional de intercambio de lenguas extranjeras más importante del año.

Organizado por “The American Council on the Teaching of foreign languages”, ACTFL reúne a profesores de lenguas extranjeras de enseñanza reglada, investigadores, editoriales, instituciones culturales y universidades norteamericanas e internacionales.

Por supuesto, un año más, contará con la presencia del Instituto Cervantes que, a través de su personal especializado del área de académica de las delegaciones de New York y Chicago, responderá como institución de referencia en la enseñanza del español y de la cultura hispánica a las consultas de los profesionales y organizaciones del sector. Entre otros temas, tendremos información sobre nuestra enseñanza en línea a través del aula virtual AVE, cursos de español, DELE (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) ; formación de profesores y la promoción de la Red de Centros Acreditados y Asociados.

While Miami honors Spain in its 30 anniversary celebration of The“Miami Book Fair International” in Orlando, from November 21^st to 24^th, brings us the ACTFL convention, an important Annual Convention and World Language Expo. Organized by “The American Council on the Teaching of foreign languages”.

ACTFL, brings together teachers of foreign languages; researchers; publishers; cultural institutions and national and international universities.

For yet another year, ACTFL will have the presence of Instituto Cervantes, which through the academic expertise of its New York and Chicago delegations, will answer the questions of professionals and organizations, as the reference institution for the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language and the promotion of Hispanic culture. Among other topics, we will provide information about our online courses through our “aula virtual”, traditional spanish courses, DELE (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) ; teachers’ workshops and  the  promotion of our network of the accredited centers and examination centers.

Without a doubt, Instituto Cervantes will take this event as an opportunity to learn about the needs of its stakeholders for whom Spanish instruction is a daily commitment.
