As our online catalogue is in Spanish, here you can find information about our audiobooks in English. If you are interested in download any of these audiobooks contact Instituto Cervantes in Sydney Library. If you have a library card from any record you can access directly to the platform and download it.

Una manera de practicar el español es viendo películas. Si no se domina el idioma podemos verlas subtituladas. Para facilitar la selección de películas en la biblioteca hemos preparado dos catálogos en función de los subtítulos: español e inglés.

Movies & Subtitle (captioning)

A good way to practise Spanish is seeing a movie. If you are not proficient enough listening to Spanish, watch the movies with subtitles. In the library OPAC you can use our catalogue for movies & captions (películas & subtítulos): Spanish or English.

Novedades en el catálogo en línea

En la RBIC (Red de Bibliotecas del Instituto Cervantes) hemos actualizado nuestro OPAC, es decir, el catálogo en línea de público acceso. En nuestra página web os explicamos como acceder a él, hacer renovaciones de préstamos, reservar ejemplares que están préstamo, etc.

Pero esta nueva actualización tiene nuevos servicios. Ahora podéis dejar vuestra opinión puntuando incluso el ejemplar. Actualmente tenemos cuatro ejemplares valorados, dos libros y dos películas. Os animamos a darnos vuestra opinión para ayudar a otros usuarios a escoger un libro para leer o una película para ver.

Otra novedad es la inserción de la imagen de la portada del libro (cuando es posible).

Si el libro está digitalizado por Google y pinchamos en el icono:

Se abrirá una ventana mostrando la digitalización.

Por último, pero no menos importante, se pueden exportar las referencias directamente a nuestra cuenta en RefWorks, evitando tener que copiarlas y luego importarlas.

Online catalogue news

RBIC (Institute Cervantes Libraries Network) has update our OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). In our web page is explained how access to it, how make loan renovations, how make reservations, ecc.

This update brigs also new services. Right now users can comment the book they have reading or the movie they have seeing, or the music disc they have listening like before, but also value it.

Currently there are 4 items commented (2 books and 2 movies). I encourage users to use this service and help other user to choose a book, movie or music disc. Other innovation is the image of the book cover (when is posible). If the book is digitalised by Google books and you click the icon showed a window will pop up with the digital text.

Last but not least, users can export references directly to RefWorks, saving us to copy, save and import them.
