En el Instituto Cervantes somos conocedores de la capacidad que los niños tienen para aprender y no sólo de eso, sino también del potencial del español como segunda lengua internacional y de su creciente importancia sobre todo aquí en Estados Unidos. Por ello, contamos con profesores especializados en la enseñanza de este idioma para los más peques, que harán que aprender español sea divertido a través de canciones, teatro, danza y películas, entre otras formas de enseñanza.

At Instituto Cervantes we are conscious not only about the amazing ability of kids to learn but also about the potential of Spanish as a second international language in United States. That’s why we have specialized teachers that teach kids Spanish through songs, theatre, dance, and many other fun activities.

Los cursos de otoño para niños comienzan en nuestro Instituto el sábado 25 de septiembre

Este programa está diseñado para cubrir las necesidades creativas de los niños mientras aprenden español. Los juegos, las canciones, la tecnología multimedia, y las manualidades servirán para que los niños desarrollen su capacidad comunicativa e  incluirá materiales de España y de América Latina.

Los alumnos tienen acceso a nuestra Biblioteca  donde encontrarán  libros ilustrados, libros de cuentos y literatura, vídeos, discos compactos, etc. adecuados para niños.  

July 12 through August 30

1 Week Courses (Monday-Friday) with 3-hour sessions

Each course costs $265

Courses run every week and start every Monday

Children (ages 5-10) & Teenagers (ages 11-13 & 14-17)

Students may attend as many or as few of the course as they wish

All levels. Children and teenagers who are not complete beginners must take a placement exam. Please contact the Registration Office at 212 308 7720 Ext. 3

Children’s Theater Workshop

Cursos de verano para niños ICNY

This workshop will not only help children in their language learning experience but it will also nurture the ability and desire to think critically and objectively, work and collaborate with others, build self-confidence and become more assertive.

Since theater is very much attached to its geography and cultural roots; during the 15-hours of classes we are going to explore the arts and culture of different Spanish-speaking countries.
