Estamos en el Dublin Book Festival del 4 al 6 de marzo. Os esperamos.
We are at the Dublin Book festival from the 4rd until the 6th of March. Come to visit us!

3 de Marzo: Día Mundial del libro / 3rd of March: World Book Day
Sí, has leido bien, el día 3 de marzo se celebra el Día Mundial del Libro en Irlanda y Reino Unido, y no el 23 de abril como en otros países, entre ellos España. El Instituto Cervantes de Dublín se suma en 2011 a esta celebración.
Como preámbulo, el día 2 celebramos nuestro concurso de recitado de poemas de Luis Alberto de Cuenca entre nuestros estudiantes.
El día 3 regalaremos un libro a cada uno de nuestros 120 primeros visitantes.
Podrás dejar los libros en español que ya no vas a leer y llevarte otros que te interesen a cambio.
A las 6 de la tarde, contaremos con la presencia de Luis Alberto de Cuenca, Jorge Edwards y Alicia Mariño en la mesa redonda Muchos mundos.
También el día 3 comenzaremos a publicar en nuestro blog los textos que nos han hecho llegar los alumnos de español de todo Dublín
Durante esta semana publicaremos también los textos de nuestros alumnos del curso de escritura creativa.
Y del 4 al 6 de marzo estaremos presentes en el Dublin Book Festival, con un puesto en el Dublin City Hall.

Yes, you did read that correctly, the 3rd March is World Book Day in Ireland and the UK, as opposed to the 23rd April, as in many other countries, including Spain. Instituto Cervantes is joining in with the Irish tradition this year.
To get things rolling, on the 2nd March, we will holding our poetry recital competition, whereby our students will recite poems by Luis Alberto de Cuenca.
On the 3rd March we will give away a free book to the first 120 visitors.
Leave with us the books in Spanish that you have already read and take out the ones that other readers left.
At 6pm, we will welcome Luis Alberto de Cuenca, Jorge Edwards and Alicia Mariño to our round-table discussion Many Worlds.
That same day we will also publish on our blog texts written and sent to us by students of Spanish from around Dublin.
During the week we will also publish the texts written by the students of the Creative Writing course here at the Instituto.
And from the 4th to the 6th March, we will have a stand at the Dublin Book Festival in Dublin’s City Hall.

Concurso de recitado de poesía / Poetry recitation contest
Participa en nuestro concurso y llévate un viaje a Madrid (tres noches, vuelo, alojamiento y desayuno incluidos) o un curso de español gratis.
Este año, nos unimos a toda Irlanda para celebrar el Día Internacional del Libro el jueves 3 de marzo. Ese día regalaremos libros a nuestros primeros 150 visitantes.
A las seis de la tarde, recibiremos a Luis Alberto de Cuenca, a Jorge Edwards y a Alicia Mariño en nuestro café literario.
Desde el 4 al 6 de marzo estaremos en el Dublin Book Festival
Y antes, el día 2 de marzo, celebraremos un concurso de recitado de poesía entre todos nuestros alumnos. Apúntate. Los textos seleccionados son poemas de Luis Alberto de Cuenca, que estará con nosotros y formará parte del jurado.

In Ireland, March 3rd is a date for world literature as we celebrate the World Book Day.
To join in with the celebrations Instituto Cervantes will offer books to our first 150 visitors.
At 6pm. we will host talks by Luis Alberto de Cuenca, Jorge Edwards and Alicia Mariño in our Café Literario.
Come and visit us at our stand at the Dublin Book Festival in Dublin City Hall from the 4th to the 6th March.
But, first things first, on the 2nd March we will celebrate our students’ poetry recital competition. Sign up! This year, the texts selected are poems by Luis Alberto de Cuenca. Luis Alberto will join us as a member of the jury.
If you are interested in taking part in the competition, speak to your teacher and get all the information at the reception desk, on the 2nd floor. Remember, a trip to Madrid and a 30-hour summer course are up for grabs!
