La Courtauld Gallery posee una de las más importantes colecciones de dibujo español fuera de España: en total, aproximadamente, un centenar de obras que abarcan de los siglos XVI al XX. Entre ellas, se encuentran piezas de algunos de los pintores españoles más notables, como Ribera, Murillo, Goya y Picasso/The Courtauld Gallery holds one of the most important collections of Spanish drawings outside Spain, totalling approximately 100 works ranging from the 16th to the 20th centuries. They include examples by many of Spain’s greatest artists, such as Ribera, Murillo, Goya and Picasso.

La Dra. Véliz es licenciada por las universidades de Florida y La Trobe y su trabajo se ha centrado en el estudio de la historia del arte español y en la historia de la restauración de pinturas en España/Dr Véliz has degrees from Florida and La Trobe universities and has made major contributions to the study of the history of Spanish art and the history of restoration of paintings in Spain.

Junto a la Dra. Véliz, participarán en este acto la Dra. Hillary Macartney, máxima autoridad en la vida y la obra de Stirling Maxwell, y Ernst Vegelin/Dr Véliz will be joined at the launch by Dr Hilary Macartney, who is the major authority on Stirling Maxwell’s life and work, and Ernst Vegelin.
