Hace ya cuatro años el Instituto Cervantes de los Países Bajos se fijó el objetivo de asignar un tema anual a la conmemoración del Día Internacional de la Mujer para, de esa forma, centrar el debate y hacerlo más eficaz.

En 2018 hablamos de Mujer y Libros; en 2019 de Mujer y Arte; en 2020 de Mujer y Ciencia, y este año 2021 lo dedicamos a Mujer y Música con un programa muy elaborado que tiene diversas ramificaciones.

En un proyecto esencialmente colaborativo, en el que hemos trabajado junto a EUNIC NL, la Embajada de España en La Haya, la representación de la Comisión Europea en los Países Bajos y la OBA (Biblioteca Pública de Ámsterdam), hemos obtenido también participaciones específicas de varias de los institutos y embajadas integrantes de nuestro clúster europeo.

Estas son las diferentes actividades que conforman el programa común:

1. Polygnota de Tebas: ayer musa, hoy compositora

Ciclo de cinco conciertos que se retransmiten en directo desde el Auditorio del Instituto Cervantes de Utrecht y que pretende poner en valor el trabajo de mujeres compositoras más o menos silenciadas por la historia. Coordinado por la pianista Lara Martínez Taboada, la serie ofrece un escenario para mostrar su trabajo a jóvenes de varias nacionalidades que actualmente estudian en los Países Bajos. 2. Mesa redonda

Se celebrará en el teatro de la OBA/Ámsterdam y contará con la participación de siete ponentes (4 presencialmente, 3 desde diferentes países de Europa) para hablar sobre temas que hoy preocupan en el ámbito de las mujeres y el mundo de la música. Más información.

3. Actuaciones musicales

Patrocinados por diferentes socios de EUNIC NL, ofrecemos siete actuaciones musicales que se han grabado en diferentes ciudades especialmente para esta ocasión. El nexo común es que los protagonistas de cada actuación son intérpretes y/o compositoras mujeres. Más información.

4. Exposición virtual: Marsch der Frauen

Titulada “The March of the women”, la muestra virtual  está producida por EntArteOpera y llega desde Viena a través de la Embajada de Austria en La Haya y presenta perfiles de docenas  de mujeres compositoras europeas marginadas que trabajaron  entre 1850 y 1980.  Más información.

Internationale Vrouwendag . 8 maart 2021

Vier jaar geleden stelde het Instituto Cervantes in Nederland zich ten doel de viering van Internationale Vrouwendag elk jaar een thema te geven om zo het debat meer aandacht en daadkracht te geven.

In 2018 was het centrale thema Vrouwen en Boeken; in 2019 Vrouwen en Kunst; in 2020  Vrouwen en Wetenschap, en dit jaar hebben we het over Vrouwen en Muziek met een zeer uitgebreid programma met uiteenlopende activiteiten.

Aan het gezamenlijke sproject, waarin we hebben samengewerkt met EUNIC NL, de Ambassade van Spanje in Den Haag, de vertegenwoordiging van de Europese Commissie in Nederland en de OBA (Openbare Bibliotheek van Amsterdam), hebben ook een aantal instituten en ambassades die lid zijn van onze Europese cluster deelgenomen.

Het gemeenschappelijke programma bestaat uit de volgende activiteiten:

1. Polygnota van Thebe: gisteren muze, vandaag componist

Reeks van vijf concerten die live worden uitgezonden vanuit het auditorium van het Instituto Cervantes in Utrecht en die tot doel heeft het werk van vrouwelijke componisten die door de geschiedenis min of meer het zwijgen zijn opgelegd, in de schijnwerpers te zetten. Gecoördineerd door pianiste Lara Martínez Taboada, biedt de serie een podium om hun werk te laten zien aan jongeren van verschillende nationaliteiten die momenteel in Nederland studeren. 2. Rondetafelgesprek

Het gesprek vindt plaats in het OBA / Amsterdam theater met zeven sprekers (vier persoonlijk aanwezig, drie vanuit verschillende Europese landen) die zullen praten over kwesties die vandaag de dag zorgen baren op het gebied van vrouwen en de muziekwereld. Meer informatie

3. Muzikale uitvoeringen

Gesponsord door verschillende EUNIC NL partners, bieden wij zeven muzikale optredens aan die speciaal voor deze gelegenheid in verschillende steden zijn opgenomen. De voorstellingen hebben een ding gemeen: de hoofdrolspelers zijn vrouwelijke artiesten en / of componisten. Meer informatie.

4. Virtuele tentoonstelling: Marsch der Frauen

International Women’s Day 2021. March 8, 2021

Four years ago the Instituto Cervantes in the Netherlands set itself the goal of assigning an annual theme to the commemoration of International Women’s Day in order to focus the debate and make it more effective.

In 2018 we talked about Women and Books; in 2019 about Women and Art; in 2020 about Women and Science; and this year, 2021, we are dedicating it to Women and Music, with a very elaborate programme that has several ramifications.

In an essentially collaborative project, in which we have worked together with EUNIC NL, the Spanish Embassy in The Hague, the representation of the European Commission in the Netherlands and the OBA (Amsterdam Public Library), we have also been lucky enough to receive specific contributions from several of the institutes and embassies that are members of our cluster.

Four different sets of activities make up our 2022 programme:

1. Polygnota of Thebes: yesterday muse, today composer

A series of five concerts broadcast live from the Auditorium of the Institute in Utrecht, which aims to highlight the work of women composers who have been more or less silenced by history. Coordinated by pianist Lara Martínez Taboada, the series offers a stage to showcase their work to young conservatory students of different nationalities currently studying in the Netherlands. 2. Round Table

It will be held in the theatre of the OBA/Amsterdam and will bring together seven speakers (4 in person, 3 connecting online from different European countries) to talk about current issues of concern in the field of women and the world of music. More information

3. Musical program

Sponsored by different partners of EUNIC NL, we offer seven musical videos that have been recorded in different European cities and especially for this occasion. The common link is that the protagonists of each performance are female performers and/or composers. More information

4. Virtual exhibition: Marsch der Frauen

La vida es sueño es una película de Vanesa Abajo Pérez. Fue seleccionada por el concurso Gouden Kalf de documental largo y se presentó el pasado mes de septiembre en el Festival de Cine de los Países Bajos (Nederlandse Film Festival). La directora presentará la película y después de la proyección contestará las preguntas del público.

A finales de la década de 1960, los padres de Vanesa huyeron de la profunda pobreza del régimen de Franco para perseguir su sueño en Holanda. Trabajaron de forma ininterrumpida durante 45 años, con el objetivo de volver ricos a España. Allí, en una cómoda casa llena de kitsch azul y dorado brillante de Delft, finalmente pueden descansar.

Vanesa creció en Holanda, donde aún vive, pero todavía se siente atrapada en la imagen onírica de sus padres, a pesar de la distancia que los separa. Dividida entre dos lugares en casa, se sumerge en su pasado. ¿Qué tipo de vida vivía realmente su familia?

La directora disecciona el sueño migrante de sus padres con la poesía y la precisión de su cámara. Mientras que el límite entre el sueño y la realidad, la ilusión y la desilusión se desvanece lentamente, la película se convierte en una historia íntima y surrealista sobre el desarrollo personal y el valor de los lazos familiares.

La vida es sueño is een film van Vanesa Abajo Pérez. De film werd geselecteerd voor de Gouden Kalf competitie voor lange documentaires en werd afgelopen september gepresenteerd tijdens het Film Festival in Nederland (Nederlands Film Festival).
De regisseur zal de film inleiden en na de vertoning vragen van het publiek beantwoorden.

Eind jaren zestig ontvluchtten Vanesa’s ouders de diepe armoede van het Franco-regime om hun droom in Nederland na te jagen. Ze zwoegden onafgebroken, 45 jaar lang, met als doel rijk naar Spanje terug te keren. Daar, in een comfortabel huis vol Delfts blauw en goud glimmende kitsch, kunnen ze nu eindelijk uitrusten.

Vanesa groeide op in Nederland en woont er nog steeds maar voelt zich, ondanks de afstand tussen hen, nog altijd gevangen in het droombeeld van haar ouders. Verscheurd tussen twee thuisplekken, duikt ze opnieuw in haar verleden. Wat voor leven heeft haar familie eigenlijk geleefd? In Het leven is droom ontleedt Vanesa de migrantendroom van haar ouders met de poëzie en precisie van haar camera. Terwijl de grens tussen droom en werkelijkheid, illusie en desillusie, langzaam vervaagt, ontwikkelt de film zich tot een intieme, surrealistische vertelling over zelfontplooiing en de waarde van familiebanden.

El servicio de préstamo y reserva de libros electrónicos quedará interrumpido del 16 de febrero al 1 de marzo de 2021, por cambios tecnológicos

Como parte del proceso de innovación tecnológica del Instituto Cervantes, el martes día 16 de febrero está prevista una migración del servicio de préstamo de libros electrónicos a una nueva plataforma digital que supondrá una notable mejora y nuevas funcionalidades del servicio para los usuarios de la biblioteca electrónica del Instituto Cervantes.

Hasta el lunes 1 de marzo, algunos servicios de préstamo – préstamo y la reserva de libros electrónicos- se verán interrumpidos excepcionalmente durante trece días, aunque se mantendrá el acceso a los audiolibros electrónicos y a las bases de datos.

Con el objetivo de prestarle el mejor servicio y que dicha interrupción le cause las mínimas molestias, se prorrogará la validez de los carnés de la biblioteca electrónica a todos los usuarios de manera gratuita dos meses. Desde el sistema de gestión bibliotecaria recibirán una notificación con la nueva fecha de caducidad de su carné y se prorrogarán, también, los plazos de los libros ya prestados hasta el 16 de marzo.

Aunque recibirá información detallada al respecto, le adelantamos que la migración a la nueva plataforma implicará que realice algunos cambios en el software instalado en sus dispositivos:

• La aplicación Libros-e deberá ser sustituida por la aplicación de la nueva plataforma y deberá desinstalar la anterior versión de Google Play o de Apple Store en su dispositivo, para lo que recibirá un aviso por correo electrónico.
• En el caso de no tener instalado en su ordenador Adobe Digital Edición, deberá crear un nuevo ID.

Cuando la nueva aplicación se ponga en marcha, el Instituto Cervantes le ofrecerá un servicio de atención al usuario por si necesitara ayuda en este proceso.

Otros servicios de nuestra Biblioteca como el del Club Virtual de Lectura seguirá su calendario previsto a partir del próximo mes de abril, por lo que le animamos a participar en la lectura de la obra del reciente Premio Cervantes 2020, el poeta Francisco Brines.

Vanwege technische aanpassingen is het van 16 februari tot en met 1 maart 2021 niet mogelijk digitale boeken te lenen of te reserveren.

Als onderdeel van het proces van technologische innovatie van het Instituto Cervantes, zal de digitale bibliotheek op dinsdag 16 februari overschakelen op een nieuwe digitaal platform, met als doel een betere service en nieuwe functionaliteiten voor de gebruikers van de online bibliotheek van Instituto Cervantes.

Tot en met maandag 1 maart zal bij uitzondering een aantal leenfaciliteiten – het lenen en reserveren van digitale boeken – niet toegankelijk zijn gedurende 13 dagen. Toegang tot de digitale luisterboeken en tot de databases blijft wel mogelijk.

Om u optimale service te verlenen en te zorgen dat u zo min mogelijk hinder ondervindt van de overgang, zal de geldigheidsduur van alle bibliotheekpassen van gebruikers van de digitale bibliotheek gratis worden verlengd met 3 weken. Vanuit het bibliotheeksysteem ontvangt u een bericht met daarin de nieuwe uiterste geldigheidsdatum, en bovendien wordt de leentermijn van de boeken verlengd tot 16 maart.

Binnenkort ontvangt u alle benodigde informatie, maar we wijzen u er alvast op dat als gevolg van de overgang naar het nieuwe platform het noodzakelijk zal zijn een aantal wijzigingen door te voeren in de software die geïnstalleerd is op uw apparaat:

• De applicatie E-books dient vervangen te worden door de applicatie van het nieuwe platform en de eerdere versie van Google Play of Apple Store dient verwijderd te worden van uw apparaat. U ontvangt hierover binnenkort bericht van ons via de mail.
• In het geval dat u geen Adobe Digital Edition geínstalleerd heeft op uw apparaat, dient u een nieuwe ID aan te maken.
Als de nieuwe applicatie wordt gestart, biedt het Instituto Cervantes u via haar klantenservice, indien nodig, hulp en ondersteuning gedurende het proces.

Andere diensten van onze Bibliotheek zoals de Vrituele Leesclub, zal haar programma vervolgen in de maand april, waarvoor we u van harte uitnodigen het boek te lezen dat onlangs de Cervantes 2020 prijs ontving, geschreven door de dichter Fransciso Brines.

Más recientemente, cuando el comienzo de la pandemia nos impidió celebrar de la forma tradicional el Día del Libro en abril de 2021 y necesitábamos una imagen poderosa para fortalecer la convocatoria virtual, nos dejaste utilizar tu Don Quijote (Don Quichote 08)un cuadro estremecedor y único con el que conseguimos llegar al alma de cientos de amantes de la literatura española y latinoamericana.

¡Gracias, Lita! Por tu amistad, por tu generosidad, pero sobre todo por hacer que nos sintamos tan orgullosos de una mujer y una artista española que a base de talento y del trabajo de décadas es reconocida ya universalmente como una de las grandes de este siglo.

Je bent een bijzondere kunstenaar, onvermoeibare werker, schilderes van doeken met een unieke en hartverscheurende kracht, je hebt erkenning verdiend door altijd alles te geven. Geïnspireerd door de Spaanse klassiekers, is je kunst origineel en uniek, en de grootte en techniek van je schilderijen vereist een vitale kracht, die alleen genieën bezitten, kunstzinnig en fysiek tegelijk.

Vanuit het Instituto Cervantes in Utrecht maken we van de gelegenheid gebruik om je dit kleine eerbetoon te brengen, waarmee we je succes willen delen en je bedanken voor je vriendschap. An extraordinary artist, a tireless worker, a painter of pictures with a unique and heartbreaking strength, you have earned recognition by achieving excellence at what you do. From the day we met, you have always been generous to us. Thank you, Lita! For your friendship, for your generosity, but above all for making us feel so proud of a Spanish woman, an artist who, thanks to her talent and decades of work, is now universally recognised as one of the great painters of this century.
